It's full name is IntelliJIDEA, a commercial Java IDE by a company called JetBrains to compete with open source Eclipse. Like Eclipse, it has an open API for creating plugs-ins where there are lots, but certainly not nearly as many. Also has a remarkable Ruby/Ruby on Rails plug-in.
